The fixtures for this year’s Ghana Beach Soccer FA Cup has been revealed with kickoff billed for the end of this month. The beach football fixtures were released by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) earlier this week.

The latest edition of the Ghana Beach Soccer FA Cup will start on Saturday, May 28 and end on Sunday, June 12. Also, the competition has 16 clubs. The 15-day beach football competition will be held at the new beach football pitch at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

Beach football is on the rise in the West African nation of Ghana and it’s not a surprise that a lot of the elite Beach Soccer clubs have registered for the competition already. Former winners HavedziMighty Warriors are also the 2019 CAL Bank Super Cup winners and they have been drawn in Group B.Havedzi are in the same group alongside Pee Talent Management, Ocean Stars and Nungua Beach Soccer Club.

Keta Sunset Group are one of the best beach football clubs in Ghana. They have been drawn in an interesting group. Keta Sunset Group are in the same group as Okere Rangers, Teshie United and Ada Assurance. It must be pointed out that Keta Sunset Group are in Group C and they have won the Ghana Beach Soccer Championship on three occasions.

Tema United is in Group A of this year’s Ghana Beach Soccer FA Cup tournament alongside Cheetah BSC, Kedzi Miracle and Dansoman BSC (Beach Soccer Club). The teams in Group D are Vodza Iron Breakers, Layoca BSC, Sea Sharks and Senya Sharks.

In the first game at the Ghana Beach Soccer FA Cup, Damsoman will take on Tema United in a Group A clash billed for next week Saturday, while Kedzi Miracle will do battle with Cheetah in the second game on the same day. The teams in Group B will also be in action on the opening day of the tournament.
